Dear Friends:
Wider Church Ministries/One Great Hour of Sharing this afternoon
launched a Pacific Disasters Appeal

with a goal of $250,000. This appeal consolidates the two previous
appeals launched earlier this week for - Typhoon Ketsana and South
Pacific Tsunamis - and incorporates our response to yesterday's
earthquakes in Indonesia.
We are encouraging undesignated gifts to the Pacific Disasters Appeal
to be used where most needed. We have set up a tracking system which
will ensure that any gifts designated specifically for one or more of
these three disasters will be appropriately distributed. Instructions
for making gifts and designations appear on the Pacific Disasters
Appeal page.
A prayer litany, which we have entitled, Prayer for the Pacific, is
available to be downloaded from the Pacific Disasters Appeal page. A
huge thank you to Mike Denton for creating this litany.
We will continue to post news stories and updates to the Pacific
Disasters Appeal page. Please share news and stories you receive from
our partners throughout the region.
