Welcome to the Rev. Lark Hapke, our new interim conference minister |

The board of directors of the Southwest Conference unamimously voted on Sept. 17, 2005, to call the Rev. Lark Hapke as Interim Conference Minister. She began her ministry on Oct. 16 when she participated in the Southwest Conference Minister’s Retreat in Carefree, AZ.
Lark has served as an interim conference minister in three United Church of Christ conferences. Her most recent call was to the Iowa Conference in Des Moines where she served as interim conference minister and president of the conference. Previously, she was interim conference minister in the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference in Wichita and as the Connecticut Conference’s Interim Western Region Minister in Hartford.

A graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, and of the UCC-related United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities in New Brighton, MN.
Born in Michigan City, IN, Lark grew up in Minnesota. She has also served as local church pastor in Colorado, Illinois and California.
